Clinical guidelines support Physiotherapy as part of the first line of defence and treatment for common, but not normal, pelvic health problems. These include bladder and bowel issues such as incontinence or urgency, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain and diastasis recti. 

 

Whether you need support during pregnancy and birth preparation, into the postnatal phase or needing support with symptoms of the peri and post menopause later in life, Becca is passionate in understanding your symptoms and how they affect you. â€‹

Women's health appointments are comprehensive involving all aspects of your physical and emotional wellbeing in order to formulate personalised management targeted to your needs.  This holistic and bespoke approach provides you with the management tools to optimise symptom improvement and management alongside functional restoration.

The Mummy MOT

The Mummy MOT is the postnatal check EVERY mother deserves! They are wonderfully reassuring and empowering for mums who have either had a baby recently, last year or 10 years ago! And babies are welcome to your appointments too!

The Mummy MOT is an incredibly comprehensive assessment bespoke to your needs. It addresses symptoms and concerns you might have after having a baby and helps functional, supported and safe return to the activities you enjoy the most with confidence.

1-Hour Assessment

​

  • Full postural screen

  • Pelvic floor muscle assessment

  • Abdominal muscle examination and separation screen

  • C-section or episiotomy scar check 

  • Low back & pelvic girdle pain screen

  • Screening for bladder, bowel or sexual function​

​Follow Up

​

  • Education & advice on optimising activities e.g lifting & carrying your baby or pushing a buggy

  • Pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscle rehabilitation

  • Scar tissue formation and management

  • Bespoke rehabilitation program with your goals and lifestyle factors in mind

  • A written report of the findings from the assessment & rehab plan
